yoBreeder is a gay hookup and cruising app for men looking for action, for tops, breeders, and the men who want them. It is for men who want more than just oral: penetration, intercourse, the full experience. If you are looking for just oral, this won't be your match, and the app tells you that before you sign up, not after a week of messages.
It runs in your phone's browser at yobreeder.com. No app store, no download, and no icon with a name on it sitting on your home screen for a roommate or a cousin to ask about.
One honest note. yoBreeder started a long way east of here, in Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and it is new in Edinburg and the rest of the Valley. It is free, new men are joining, and Browse shows every one of them nearest first, so you never have to wonder who is being hidden from you.
Join free, see who is on near EdinburgEdinburg is the county seat of Hidalgo County and the home of the main campus of UTRGV, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, on University Drive west of downtown. Before UTRGV it was UT Pan American, and a lot of men in the Valley still call it Pan Am.
The campus gives Edinburg something the rest of the Valley doesn't quite have: men in their twenties, grad students, staff and faculty, and plenty of guys who studied here and never left. It also means a lot of men in town live at home or with roommates, commute in from Pharr, Weslaco or Rio Grande City, and are not out to everybody they know. An app with its name on your home screen is a problem in that situation. A browser tab is not.
yoBreeder is 18 and over only, students included. Everybody gives a birthday before they can message anyone.
Browse shows every member near you, sorted by distance. Edinburg first, then McAllen, Pharr and Mission, then the rest of the Valley.
Tell Cypher out loud what you want and it finds the men whose profiles match, instead of making you set six filters.
Once you have talked, one tap in a private chat sends him exactly where you are, with directions. Only to him, only when you choose.
Edinburg runs straight down I-69C into Pharr and McAllen, and from most of town you are twenty minutes or so from anywhere in the middle of the Valley. Browse doesn't stop at the city limits, so neither do the men on it.
University Drive and the apartments around UTRGV. Students, staff, and the men who rent near campus because it is cheap and close.
The courthouse and the older streets around it. The county seat side of town, quieter after dark.
South on I-69C, fifteen to twenty minutes. The Valley's biggest city, and where a lot of nights out end up. yoBreeder in McAllen.
Southwest, about twenty five minutes. Mission, Alton and Palmhurst, and further out toward Rio Grande City.
San Juan, Weslaco and Mercedes, then Harlingen about forty five minutes away. All on the same screen if you keep scrolling.
Tops, breeders, and the men who want them. In Edinburg that means students, but it also means nurses and teachers, men who work for the county, men in town for a concert at Bert Ogden Arena, and men who drive in from the ranch country north of town. yoBreeder doesn't sort them for you. It shows everybody by distance and lets each profile say what he is after.
Write your profile the way you talk. English, Spanish, or both in the same sentence. In the Valley, everybody reading it will follow.
An email, your birthday and what you are into. No city to type, it works that out.
Every member near you, nearest first. Not a sample, not a paywalled list. Everyone.
Tell Cypher what you are after and it matches you on it.
Message anyone. When you are ready, send him your location, whether that is across campus or across the county.
Put a photo up. Men with one get answered far more often than men without, and a man with no photo can reply to messages but can't start a conversation. A short profile video counts too.
Be specific. One message that mentions what he actually wrote beats "hey" to everyone on the screen. And look at the distance on each card. The man ten minutes away on the other side of University Drive is the one who shows up.
Evenings and late nights, and weekends more than weeknights, like anywhere. The school calendar matters here too. Late August and January bring new faces to campus, and the summer and the winter break are quieter around University Drive. If it is quiet when you look, that has its uses. You are one of the first faces on the screen.
Nobody in the Valley lives in just one town. You work in McAllen, your family is in Mission, you go to the beach at South Padre. yoBreeder works the same everywhere you go: Browse starts from wherever you are standing. See the whole picture on the Rio Grande Valley page, or go straight to McAllen, Mission, Harlingen or Brownsville.
Every hookup app says it is for everyone, which is how you spend a week finding out somebody wanted something different from you. yoBreeder says who it is for on the door. Men who want just oral are told plainly this isn't their app. That loses us signups and saves everybody the week. If you want to know where the name comes from, here is what "breeder" means, and here is how Breeder, Receiver and Both work on the app.
The biggest, and a grid of everyone with no stated purpose, so you find out what a man wants by asking. Free accounts see a capped list.
A live map, and very good at cruising in the moment. It is about where he is; yoBreeder is about what he wants.
General apps with a type attached. The app never says what it is for, so every conversation has to work it out.
One purpose, stated publicly: more than just oral. Everyone visible, free messaging, voice search, nothing to install. Newer in the Valley than all of them, and honest about that too.
In a town where your professor, your cousin and your coworker might all be looking at the same apps, privacy is the whole thing. yoBreeder never shows an exact pin. Every member's position is blurred by between half a mile and a mile and a quarter before it leaves our server, so the map puts you in your part of town and never at your apartment complex or your parents' house. The only way anyone sees exactly where you are is if you send it to him yourself, in a private chat.
There is no app on your home screen with a name on it, you can hide your city on your profile, and you can delete your account yourself from your own profile, without emailing anybody.
Yes. A profile, browsing every member near you and messaging are all free. Premium is optional, costs $7 a month, and adds extras like incognito mode and video calling. It never unlocks people.
yoBreeder started in South Florida and is new in Edinburg and the rest of the Rio Grande Valley, and new men are joining. Browse shows every member nearest first, with no capped list and no paywall, so whoever is on near you is the first thing you see, and McAllen, Pharr and Mission are right behind as you scroll.
Yes, if you are 18 or over. Nobody under 18 is allowed on, and everyone gives a birthday before they can message anyone. yoBreeder has nothing to do with the university, and nothing about it shows on your home screen.
No. yoBreeder runs in your phone browser at yobreeder.com. There is nothing to install and nothing named on your home screen unless you choose to add it.
No. Every member's position is blurred by between half a mile and a mile and a quarter before it leaves our server, so the map shows your part of town and never your apartment or your family's house. You can choose to send your exact location to one man in a private chat. That is the only way anyone sees it.
Tops, breeders, and the men who want them. Men looking for more than just oral: penetration, intercourse, the full experience. It says so on the door, so everyone on it is looking for the same thing.
