1. Who we are

yoBreeder (“yoBreeder”, “we”, “us”) is a dating and social app for gay and bisexual men, available at yobreeder.com. It is operated from Miami, Florida, USA.

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and yoBreeder. By creating an account or using yoBreeder, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use yoBreeder.

2. Who can join

To use yoBreeder you must:

• be at least 18 years old, or older if the legal age where you live is higher;
• give us your real date of birth — every member must have one on file before sending a message;
• not have been convicted of, or be required to register for, a sexual offence;
• not have been removed from yoBreeder before, unless we have told you that you may return; and
• be allowed to use a service like this under the laws that apply to you.

We remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18, and we report suspected child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities.

3. Your account

• One person, one account. Don’t share your account or let anyone else use it.
• Be yourself. Your profile must be about you. Don’t use photos of someone else or pretend to be another person.
• Your username is public. Every member can see it, so it can’t be an email address or phone number. If a username exposes someone’s personal details, we may change it.
• Keep your login safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
• If you sign up with Google, Apple or Facebook, that service confirms who you are to us. Your username on yoBreeder is never taken from your real name.

4. What yoBreeder is — and isn’t

yoBreeder helps adult men find and talk to other adult men nearby — to chat, date, hook up or cruise. Members choose how they describe themselves (Breeder, Receiver or Both) so that people looking for the same thing can find each other.

yoBreeder is not:

• an escort or sex-work service. Offering, requesting or arranging sex, “companionship” or any sexual act in exchange for money, gifts, drugs or anything of value is prohibited.
• a place to sell things. Advertising, selling, promoting paid content (including subscription sites) or sending people to other services for money is not allowed.
• a background-checking service. We don’t verify members’ identities or run criminal checks. See Meeting people safely.

5. How members treat each other

You must not:

• harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or keep contacting someone who has made clear they aren’t interested;
• post or send hate speech, or attack people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, HIV status or any similar characteristic;
• involve, depict or sexualise anyone under 18 in any way;
• share anyone’s photos, videos, messages, location or personal details without their permission — including screenshots or recordings of private chats or video calls;
• record a video call or the Share stage without the consent of everyone on it;
• scam anyone: ask for money, gift cards, payment-app transfers or card details, run fake “verification” or “safety check” links, or pressure people to pay for anything;
• create fake or duplicate accounts, or impersonate anyone;
• sell or arrange the sale of illegal drugs or anything else illegal;
• send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
• try to find out where another member lives, or use yoBreeder to locate, follow or harm anyone;
• use bots, scrapers or automated tools on yoBreeder, or try to get around our security, limits or blocks; or
• break the law or encourage anyone else to.

6. What you can post

Public profile photos, videos and the Share stage

yoBreeder is for men 18 and older, and every member has confirmed his age. Nudity and sexual content are allowed in your profile photos, your profile video and on the Share stage. Your profile photos, profile video and anything you show live on the Share stage can be seen by every member, so only post what you are comfortable with every member seeing.

Whatever you post, publicly or privately, must never show or involve:

• anyone under 18, or anyone made to look under 18;
• anyone who hasn’t agreed to appear, or to have it shared — including hidden-camera or “revenge” content;
• anyone else’s photos or videos presented as yours;
• force, violence, abuse, or anyone unable to consent — for example asleep, unconscious or intoxicated;
• animals in any sexual context;
• illegal drug use or sales, or hateful symbols; or
• contact details, links, prices or advertising — yoBreeder is not a place to sell sex, content or anything else.

Private messages and video calls

What two consenting adults choose to share with each other in private is up to them — within the law. But you must never send sexual content to someone who hasn’t made clear they want it, and nothing you share privately may involve anyone under 18, anyone who hasn’t consented, or anything illegal.

7. Your content

• You own what you post. Photos, videos, voice recordings and messages stay yours.
• So that yoBreeder can work, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, display and deliver your content to the members you choose to share it with, for as long as it’s on yoBreeder. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account — except that when an account is deleted we keep a private record of it, including its files, for safety and legal reasons. That record is never shown to other members; our Privacy Policy explains it.
• You confirm that you have the right to post everything you post, and that everyone in it is 18 or older and agreed to be in it and to have it shared.
• We do not sell your photos, videos or messages, and we don’t use them in advertising.

8. Meeting people safely

You are responsible for your own interactions with other members, online and in person. We don’t screen members or check their identity, age, health or history, and we can’t guarantee that anyone is who they say they are. We strongly recommend that you:

• meet somewhere public the first time, and tell a friend where you’re going;
• never send money or card details to someone you’ve met here;
• talk about sexual health and protection before you meet; and
• block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

Other members see roughly where you are, never your exact address — we deliberately move every member’s position on the map by between half a mile and a mile and a quarter. Distances shown are approximate.

You can choose to send your exact location to one member in a private chat, with the 📍 button. Only do that with someone you trust: he will see precisely where you are. You can unsend it, but you can’t make him forget it. Never share a location someone sent you with anyone else.

9. Premium and payments

Premium

• Premium costs $7 (US dollars) a month and unlocks extra features, which are described on the Premium page in the app.
• It renews automatically every month and your card is charged each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the Premium page in the app. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the month you’ve already paid for.
• We don’t refund part-months. Because you keep Premium for the rest of the period you paid for, cancelling part-way doesn’t trigger a refund — unless the law where you live says otherwise.
• If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

breedBOOST

A breedBOOST is a one-time purchase of $1.99 that places your profile at the top of Browse for one hour once you start it. It isn’t a subscription and isn’t refundable once it has started.

How payments work

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices include any fees we charge but may not include taxes, which depend on where you are. From time to time we may give Premium features to some members free of charge, at our discretion.

10. AI features

Some features — such as Cypher and Break the Ice — use artificial intelligence to suggest matches or conversation openers based on what members have put in their profiles. Suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong or inappropriate. Nothing is sent to another member unless you choose to send it, and you are responsible for anything you send. Our Privacy Policy explains what information these features use.

11. When rules are broken

We actively look for it. yoBreeder regularly checks its public areas — profiles and the 24/7 Room — for illegal activity and for anything these terms don’t allow, including drug dealing and buying or selling sex. We also check messages for scams and for anything involving anyone under 18: anyone who says he is under 18, and anyone looking for someone who is. Anything we find is reviewed by a person, and member reports are reviewed the same way. Suspected child sexual exploitation is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and we cooperate with the police.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close any account that we believe breaks these terms, puts other members at risk, or exposes yoBreeder to legal liability — with or without notice, depending on how serious it is. If we close your account for breaking these terms, you won’t get a refund for any Premium time left. Where the law requires it, we’ll cooperate with police and other authorities.

You can report a member to us at any time, and you can block anyone. A block works both ways: the two of you disappear from each other everywhere on yoBreeder, and neither of you can message the other. The member you block is not told.

12. Leaving yoBreeder

You can delete your account whenever you like from your profile settings. If you have Premium, deleting your account cancels it automatically and you won’t be charged again. Your profile, photos and messages disappear from yoBreeder for everyone; we keep a private record of the account for safety and legal reasons, which is never shown to anyone. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers and liability

yoBreeder is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that you will meet anyone through it.

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline, or for content posted by members;
• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or reputation; and
• our total liability to you for any claim relating to yoBreeder is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate yoBreeder for any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you post or from your breach of these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as yoBreeder changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using yoBreeder after that, you’re agreeing to the updated terms.
